Fast Track has already passed in the Senate and now the House says that it has the votes. If Fast Track passes, it can last up to 6 years and will be used to rush harmful agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and Trade-in-Services Agreement (TISA) through Congress without adequate review.
The House may vote on Fast Track as early as Thursday, June 11. That is why we must mobilize a large presence in DC now and stay there until we are certain that Fast Track is dead.
Join us at the corner of Independence Ave and New Jersey Ave SE starting at 10 am on Tuesday, June 9. Depending on the turnout, we may hold the space 24/7, but we will at least be there every day from 10 am to 5 pm. We will talk to members of Congress, leaflet and march.
It will take a popular uprising to stop Fast Track. Spread the word!
