Racial profiling and the excessive use of force by the police needs to stop. March with us and the families of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin and Akai Gurley this Saturday in Washington, D.C. to show that America believes #Blacklivesmatter.
This Saturday, December 13, the ACLU will join the National Action Network, the families of Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and Akai Gurley, and thousands of others at the National March Against Police Violence in Washington, D.C.
The march is expected to attract thousands of people including community and faith leaders, advocates, activists, and those who are insisting on racial justice and policing and criminal justice reforms.
The ACLU will be participating in the march and handing out our 'Know Your Rights' t-shirts, fliers, posters, and signs.
We hope to gather a large contingency to march behind the ACLU banner and we want you to join us!
Let's stand up together against the excessive use of force by law enforcement and racial profiling.
Meet us at our ACLU tent at Freedom Plaza starting at 10:30am and we'll march together at noon.
